Today in school I was learning about the planets. I learned there are three qualifications to be a planet  The planet must orbit a star or sun. The planet must have enough gravitational pull to form a sphere and it must be the only planet in a certain perimeter. Also, I want to talk about exoplanets. Exoplanets are planets like ours, planets that orbit around a star. There  are over a thousand   neptune sized exoplanets. Also, another topic is why pluto got dethroned as a planet. The 26th assembly of astronomical union decided to come up with a new rules on the qualifications of  a planet. Pluto only met 2 out of 3 of these qualifications so it was dethroned as a planet.
